U.S. CONGRESS – Today, U.S. Senator Martha McSally (R-AZ) congratulated Arizona and the six other Colorado River Basin states on finalizing the historic Drought Contingency Plan.

“It is no small feat for the seven Colorado River Basin states to finalize this Drought Contingency Plan,” Sen. McSally said. “I applaud the hard work of local, state, and Native American stakeholders who selflessly crafted measures that will lead to a more secure water future on the Colorado River. As Chairwoman of the Senate Subcommittee on Water and Power, I look forward to introducing legislation that authorizes the U.S. Department of the Interior and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to implement this DCP.”
