McSally, Sinema, O’Halleran, Biggs, Schweikert, Gallego, Lesko, and Stanton write bipartisan letter to Army Secretary

WASHINGTON – Arizona Senators Martha McSally and Kyrsten Sinema, along with Representatives Tom O’Halleran (AZ-1), Andy Biggs (AZ-5), David Schweikert (AZ-6), Ruben Gallego (AZ-7), Debbie Lesko (AZ-8), and Greg Stanton (AZ-9), wrote to Secretary of the Army Mark Esper urging him to expand foreign military sales training at the Western Army Aviation Training Site (WAATS) in Arizona to meet a growing demand and ensure pilots have the training they need to keep us safe.

“As the Army examines ways to balance support to allied partners and against U.S. Army aviation readiness, we hope you will consider expanding foreign military sales training at the Western Army Aviation Training Site (WAATS) in Arizona.”
