Following guidelines from the CDC and recommendations from state and local public health officials, the Capitol is temporarily closed and we are unable to process flag requests. Please hold off on sending any new requests until at least April 1, 2020.

Our office is able to assist Arizonans who are looking to purchase an American flag that has been flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of special occasions or anniversaries. The flag will come with a certificate of authenticity from the Architect of the Capitol, including the name of the person or organization for whom the flag was flown, the date, and the occasion. With several weeks’ notice, a flag may be flown on a specific date. If no date is specified, the flag will be flown on the first available date (typically within 1-2 weeks of receiving the request).
**Please NOTE: Pre-flown flags do not come with a customized certificate but will come with a general certificate of authenticity. If you would like a custom certificate, even if the fly date does not matter, please select a flag that is not pre-flown.
